Responsible for managing the installation of the offshore head structures weighing 3000t and 4500t by specialist contractor DEME/ Scaldis. This works involved tandem lifts with two sheer leg vessels.

Responsible for the construction of the Temporary JettysWe developed a Traveller piling gate for the Jetty construction and a floating piling gate for the side platform construction

Blackfiars Tideway

We self delivered the construction and installation of the concrete cassion under Blackfiars Road BridgeThis was required as it was not possible to install piles in this location. The cassion allows the outfall in the river wall to be connected to the new sewer

Dover Western Dock Revival

Responsible for the piling, demolition and pier construction. For the piling a walking gate was developed which significantly increased production. A section of existing jetty was removed by saw cutting above and below water, a 600t sheerleg then lifted out the individual 250t sections. A new pier is being constructed using 45t precast concrete blocks on.

Felixstowe

I was responsible for planning and managing the piling works which was carried out using directly employed labour.The main wall was a constructed of 2.5m diameter tube to tube.I was also responsible for the installation of the cathodic protection sysytem.
