As a Security Operations Center Analyst at Diamond Trust Bank, I monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats and incidents, ensuring the security and integrity of the bank's IT systems and data. I also conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits, and report on the security status and performance of the bank's IT infrastructure.My interest in cybersecurity stems from my previous experiences in IT support, where I gained a wide range of technical skills and knowledge in various IT systems, hardware, software, and networks. I learned how to troubleshoot issues, follow incident response protocols, and communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders. I also developed a strong foundation in understanding IT infrastructure, which is crucial for assessing and addressing security risks and challenges. I hold a Bachelor of Science Applied Computer Technology degree from United States International University - Africa, and several certifications in cybersecurity, networking, and project management. I am passionate about staying at the forefront of emerging threats and technologies, and I constantly update and improve my skills through online courses, training programs, and hacking challenges.
