About Mark Maloy
I am a passionate and tireless advocate for historical preservation and interpretation. I have worked at multiple historic sites both Federal and private. At all of them I worked to create and foster better public history programs. I am the published author of "Victory or Death: The Battles of Trenton and Princeton." In Charleston, South Carolina I worked with city, state and local officials to spearhead the erection of a historic marker for the location of the surrender of American forces in the Revolutionary War. As a volunteer living historian, I spend much of my free time reenacting the Revolutionary War and Civil War. While at William and Mary I created a school club to introduce young college students to the hobby of reenacting and living history.I often work with different divisions in the Park Service. While employed in the interpretation division I will on occasion use my background in cultural resource management to aid as an archaeological monitor and I worked a detail assignment as an historian with the American Battlefield Protection Program.
Listed skills include History, Historical Interpretation, Archaeology, Historical Archaeology, and 9 others.
