Supply Chain Manager for Lincoln Electric and my role was to take full control of the service and stock levels for Sheffield made product lines across Europe.-Ensuring the companies KPI's were met was my main responsibility, with the focus being on fill rate and promise date service levels to the customer. - Accurately balance the inventory levels so service can be achieved, without the DSI and working capital being above the companies target level.Main duties included: -Meet Fill rate Targets -Meet PDA Targets -Managing a stock. -Daily communication with production plants to ensure production meets customer expectations. -Maintaining the inventory at a DSI set by senior management. -Handling forecasts from sales, to pro-actively improve the stock in advance of potential orders. -Assisting in the phase in / phase out of new product ranges. -Adjusting re-order points and safety stocks based on sales levels. -Communicating with sales teams. -Communications with transportation companies to ensure effective and cost effective deliveries.
