Pentaflex is a heavy metal stamping company servicing the heavy truck and trailor industries. The company has hydraulic and mechanical presses with ranges from 75 ton to 2300 tons. The assembly department uses various welding, CNC, multipresses, and other assembly machines to provide additional value added services. We utilize many outside contractors for various plating, machining, and e-coating services. My responsibilities include all general ledger funtions at Pentaflex, supervising the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and data collection from the shop floor. I negotiate terms and collection processes with our major customers to enhance company's DSO. I am the point person responsible for any problems regarding the ERP software within the entire plant - from troubleshooting manufacturing orders to releasing PO's for receiving, to order entry snafus from our automated EDI functions. I am also involved with standard costing conversions to actual costing. I assist the VP of Finance with banking relationships, 401k monitoring, TPA administration, renewal of insurance policies. Currently the project leader for our new software installation of Plex (cloud based software). The software is company wide integrating all manufacturing phases, complete accounting, labor reporting on shop floor and humand resources including time and attendance tracking system. Point person for all Plex problems and enhancments including PRP, MRP, serialized product returns from customers and to vendors. Troubleshoot nearly all probems with 830, 856 EDI transmissions and EDIFACT and DELPHOR transactions.
