As Deputy Local Recovery Coordinator , Chairperson - Human/Social Sub-Committee and member of Council's Local Disaster Management Group, I am responsible for:- leading various community preparedness and resilience initiatives; - leading the establishment and management of evaculation centres and community recovery hubs; and - planning and managing the region's recovery (infrastructure, economic, environmental and human/social) following disasters.
