I work with contractors, customers and internal teams to deliver a sustainable solution to decarbonisation across thirteen's commercial and domestic housing stock. I work on a comprehensive network of IOT systems and devices to provide a holistic view of our properties to allow us to deliver a targeted repairs and support package for customers. I monitor a range of low carbon technologies through our IOT portals.I'm qualified as a PAS 2035 advisor and work across many of our retrofit sites with our contractors and customers to deliver a sustainable future for our neighbourhoods.

I work in Thirteen's community resilience team. our aim is to facilitate the empowerment of communities and foster a greater resilience to adverse events. my role is to support and develop events, campaigns and initiatives in areas across Teesside (and beyond) - helping to support engagement with and foster good working relationships with customers across key areas. I use and develop key communication and marketing methods to get key messages through a range of local marketing channels to our customers.

My role as the Communications and Recruitment Officer is to provide a variety of digital and traditional communications to aid the promotion of the ESF Funded New Directions project. I provide an eclectic service, developing creative, engaging and clear communications. Part of my remit is to develop our strategic marketing plan and carry out all work set out in the plan. This function supports the whole New Directions service by advertising training options, employment vacancies, current recruiter drop-ins and feeding potential new client data through to the Compliance team. The New Directions service covers the entirety of the Tees Valley and is provided by:* New College Durham (Lead partner) - Hartlepool* Thirteen Housing Group - Middlesbrough and Stockton* Actes - Middlesbrough and Stockton* North Star Housing - Darlington* Coast and Country Housing - Redcar and ClevelandThe New Directions project is part of the Youth Employment initiative in the Tees Valley area. the aim of the project is to help young people (15-29) who are NEET and living in the Tees Valley to access employment, education and training opportunities by providing a 1-1 service to tackle their barriers to the labour market.The Youth Employment Initiative is part-funded by the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.

Communications for the Big Lottery funded Know Your Money Keep The Change project based in Middlesbrough. We help young people aged 16-24 manage their finances, look for work, find entertainment and build a stable future.Using various means of communication, including a thorough social media strategy, to communicate with young people, and we continue to develop and integrate our communications to keep up with the latest market changes and trends.Know Your Money Keep The Change has an extensive partner list, that is continuously expanding. Middlesbrough

Developing and maintaining a Newsletter and on-line marketing campaign for the Gresham area of Middlesbrough. This involves developing a social media campaign to engage residents in the area, creating the whole on line campaign on a small budget. I am engaging with local businesses and professionals in order to develop good news stories for the area, helping to develop the reputation of the area and the positivity of the Gresham residents. I have also been designing and printing leaflets posters and brochures for the Community Hub at Newport Settlement. This has involved considerable work with Microsoft Office programs, including Publisher, Word and Power Point.

Middlesbrough

Creating a comprehensive business database that includes all of the properties and businesses in the Middlesbrough area, as well as helping with other office tasks. The job is heavily dependent upon my skills with Microsoft office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel. I have been involved in distribution, and communication, with local businesses about the funding available for taking on an apprentice. I will also be assisting new businesses who are becoming a part of the Corner Emporium or Baker Street in Middlesbrough.
