Wellington, NZ based Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) originally from Invercargill. I have excellent knowledge and skills related to NZ public sector external financial reporting. I strive to produce high quality, clear and concise work while being adaptable, reliable and friendly.I have previously held roles at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand and the NZ Treasury within the public sector. Prior to these roles, I worked for 2 years as a Treasury Operations Accountant at Schlumberger in The Hague. And began my career with five years at WHK.I am a dual citizen of New Zealand and the Netherlands and was lucky enough to travel throughout Europe during my time living in the Netherlands. Living and working aboard gave me further understanding of the value of diversity and different cultural values. I work and lead in a empathic manner, always remaining approachable and as a problem solver. I have extensive knowledge and experience with CFISnet, the Public Finance Act, Estimates, Baseline Updates, Accounting Standards, and the Appropriation framework.I am a quick learner and am always looking for ways to improve myself, processes and help those around me if I can.
