MMC-Gamuda (PDP)- Kuala Lumpur MalaysiaSenior SH&E Manager 2016 - PresentI am a Senior Safety Manager, assistant to the SHE Director, for MRT-SSP line 2, with an estimated cost of $4 billion of the total contract value. I oversee and assist in executing the established SHE program contractual requirements to 7 different W.P.C. that consist of approximately 52km of the viaduct and 16 elevated stations. Further, assist in supporting W.P.C. (Worker Package Contractors) in meeting their contractual obligations regarding the implementation of SHE requirements. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to analyze, establish, and enforce safety standards and other contractual obligations on the W.P.C. and PDP sides. Sharing my safety management skills and experience, with the W.P.C. to better assist in accident prevention methods and environmental compliance and steering the W.P.C. to better prepare for a more sensible "self-regulations" concept to their overall safety program. I assist in orchestrating in-house health and safety training for managers and employees, including W.P.C.'s Staff, by developing key training modules to help their "wants and needs" to educate better and develop the overall culture of Management and workers' general culture. I assist W.P.C. and their Subcons in designing and creating required safety documents, e.g., LOTO Plans, Confined Space Plan, Fall Protection Plan, Harness Free Zone Plan, etc. Apply a "systems approach" using leading indicators to identify, analyze, and mitigate specific health and safety hazards. Review the "lagging indicators" to target possible changes and revisions on existing HIRARC's/JSA. Assist in steering the WPC SHE program with "leading indicator" data to target high-risk activities better.I work closely with all levels of leadership, including project management; up to Senior Executives, to promote a safety-minded culture.

I assisted in Installing an APP (Accident Prevention Plan) across utilities, stevedoring, port and harbor services, air operations, transportation, fire and rescue services, information technology, antenna maintenance, supply/warehousing, billeting, food services, morale welfare & recreation and construction.
