Mark Miller is a native of North Carolina. Working over the years primarily in the Gulf Coast region of the US. Mr. Miller began his career as an offshore instrument man for an offshore surveyor, based out of Lafayette, LA. Then Mark subsequently changed direction into working as a landman.Landmen assemble land projects by working directly with landowners. Some projects are large, comprising 200,000 acres or more. And some may involve ten owners in a 1 acre tract of land. All of these landowners are important at the end of the day. Each landowner, large or small needs to be treated with due respect. After all, it is their land.Landman training and the profession span a lot of different business disciplines; ranging from negotiations, landowner relations, government relations and contracts. The most important part of that career however, has been building relationships with people. Both inside our business and beyond. Our goal has always been, and remains that our Company’s business success is based on our reputation and achievement record. We intend to leave the smallest footprint possible in the course of our exploration activities; and pledge to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. Our future requires that we strive to remain welcome in our energy exploits under the aegis of federal, state and local governments, anywhere in the U.S.
