Leading the transition of Tesco's Retail Banking Operations into Barclays UK.

Led elements of Lloyds & Schroders Joint Venture - resulting in Creation of Schroders Personal Wealth. Responsible for Transformation activity for Wealth/Private Banking and Stockbroking businesses.

Leader of Transformation activity including Cost-reduction, Growth, Regulatory and Merger & Acquisition change. Led top-tier 'Platinum programmes' with Investment budgets of £100m plus.

Responsible for developing strategy and leading major change programmes in the UK and overseas. Led divisional Integration and Day 1 programmes for Lloyds TSB acquisition, covering 12,000 colleagues across 20 countriesSet up and led the programme that created an on-line retail bank in Germany, later extended to the Netherlands. The bank took in €10bn deposits in its first two years of operation. Worked with German and Dutch Regulators and other agencies.

Wide-ranging commercial role within Technology Division with responsibility for identifying strategic opportunities to create value, reduce cost or improve customer satisfaction across O2, developing appropriate solutions and managing delivery plans through to completion.

Following the acquisition of CWC by ntl: I led a national team of 750 (part-unionised) employees plus a field-based contract workforce of 200 engineers responsible for all aspects of service delivery, planning, installation and fault management of business voice, television, internet and data products. Managed annual budgets of £48m (operational) and £55m (capital) within target. Increased monthly revenues by £2m and reduced supplier-spend by £4.5m pa through contract renegotiation with suppliers such as BT/Colt
