I developed a finite element model of the CFHT primary mirror and its support system to simulate the mirror's behavior under various support configurations. Using Python, I built a data pipeline to efficiently export SolidWorks Simulation data into Zemax Optical Studio. In Zemax, I performed detailed optical analyses by comparing spot diagrams generated.
