Working on the Group Benefits division of First Canadian Financial Corporation, I am responsible for various tasks and responsibilities associated group benefits. Working within employee benefits my main tasks include processing & analyzing group plan renewals, negotiating renewals with respective carriers, heading up marketing efforts in order to obtain the best pricing possible for our clients, and recommending plan changes to get the most out of our client's group plan while keeping costs' manageable,

Working within the Underwriting team, I am responsible for creating & quoting new business proposals for potential clients. In addition to new business, I also assist with the quoting of plan design amendments for existing clients & help to provide premium quotes on plan design changes. I work with various insurers to ensure the accuracy of quotes & maximum investment potential.
