 Conducted audits and 40-page inspections in the facility to make sure that we adhere to all rules and regulations that are set per Cal OSHA. Had regular monthly meetings with the EHS Reps & the Safety Committee in regard to any kind of concerns from safety issues. Issued daily toolbox talks to each cells throughout the facility. Preformed all first aids in our first aid room to prevent any kind of recordable injuries Trained all employees in facility including but not limited to LOTO, Forklift, Ariel (boom lift/Scissor lift), Ergonomics, Crane & Rigging, Fall Protection, Hazcomm, GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, (ERT) Emergency Response Team, observation card training, and Fire safety. Worked on Storm Water Collection, Workers Compensation, Worked on 5 Step Investigations for Recordable Injuries with the Operations Manager, HR department, Supervision and Management also 4 step investigation for first aid Responded to spills Grater than five gallons and fill out documentation and report it to the EPA. Developed (JHA) Job Hazard Analysis Programs for each machinery out on the production floor. Developed orientation training for all new employees every week about 30 new employees. SCAQMD Reports On yearly basis need to be done. Worked on air quality permits on all machines for the foundry Dept and throughout the facility. Documentation on all bag house dust and properly recycled. Monitor air sampling and attend all bag houses when in need. Travel to different facilities to make sure everything complies. Crane & Rigging classes are given to all operators when needed.
