Served as quality control manager and inspector from project beginning to completion. • Supervised and trained on-site quality control staff to document contract conformance using quality metrics and developing action plans.• Developed, updated and administered project wide contractor quality control plan for this technically challenging and highly schedule driven project. • As the QC Manager, leadership responsibilities included management of the onsite quality program (QCS) daily reports, maintenance of the Quality Issue Long (QIL), coordination with owner's managing inspectors, leading stakeholder meetings, and regular quality inspections of the project site. • Responsible for review and approval of all submittals, requests for information and work plans for contractor, including those from outside resources including subcontractors, offsite fabricators, testing agencies and suppliers. • Worked as member of onsite project staff (15-20 persons) to ensure crews (30-50 craft) were actively involved in pre-activity meetings and perform their work in accordance with the project quality control plan. • Managed and concrete operations by performing offsite inspections of supplier facility, equipment / delivery and using third party consultants and independent testing agencies. Instrumental in coordinating the development of improved concrete design based on results of root cause analysis for second season of construction.• Secured final project closeout, including final inspections, submission of complete testing documentation, development and delivery of final as-constructed plans to the Corps of Engineers.• Upon final evaluation, this project earned an outstanding rating from the US Army Corps of Engineers

Accountable for preparation of operation-specific presentations for Corps of Engineers.• Supervised and provided technical direction for 2 carpenter crews (12 craft), laborer crew (6 craft), rebar subcontractor (8-12 craft) and one field engineer, for a total of over 16,000 craft hours without a recordable injury.• Developed step by step work plans and worked directly with crews to implement the following: site specific job hazard analyses, environmental compliance, crew access systems, quality control metrics / checklists for heavy duty elevated formwork, rebar inspection, pre-pour inspections and inspection of structural steel falsework.• Performed cost analysis to select the most economical formwork to construct the columns, based on the project schedule. San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge Skyway Segment, Oakland CA $ 1.04 billionGained greater knowledge and new skill sets, progressing from a Field Engineer to Project Engineer on the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge Skyway Segment Kiewit/FCI/Manson Joint Venture. Responsible for field engineering of 28 each cast-in-place heavily reinforced pier tables and supervising of structural steel substation, and service platform operations. • Supervised carpenter crew (8-12 craft), labor crew (6-10 craft), reinforcing ironworker subcontractor (6-10 craft), structural steel ironworker crew (10 craft), and trained multiple engineers during the construction of bridge pier tables, internal substation and structural steel service platform operations.
