Working as a senior testing engineer at Kount/Equifax. I work diligently as a testing evangelist, ensuring that testing requirements and planning are a part of every story process. Responsible for championing test code coverage, using tools like SonarQube, and ensuring that the team is aware of and addressing technical debt. I pair directly with developers to go over Unit testing, and with SDET roles on ensuring End-to-End testing is completed. Also, I am directly responsible for chaos engineering, using tools like Gremlin to stress test our API microservices. I create, maintain, and update QA test plans in Confluence. I also participate in and help facilitate daily Standup meetings, as well as Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, QA Sync and One-on-One meetings with my manager and peers.

As a lead consultant, my job responsibilities included working with ThoughtWorks development teams to ensure the successful completion of client projects. This involved weekly cross-country travel to client sites, as well as remote work. Some of this included presenting the clients with the best and most innovative tools and coaching them in how to better manage their teams through Agile based methodology and processes. I worked directly with other ThoughtWorks developers and quality assurance engineers to successfully complete or reform end client projects. Worked as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for a startup company. Was responsible for mobile, web, database, and UI testing. Tested directly on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as on web and backend services. Implemented and maintained all test plans across all platforms. Paired directly with the development team on Unit and Integration testing. Created an automated end-to-end testing framework for website E2E testing.

Maintained lead role in software Quality Assurance projects. Responsible for creating, improving, and fully testing through multiple, concurrent software projects. Worked hand in hand with the development teams to ensure prompt bug reporting and full software testing on bug resolutions in an Agile based development cycle. These projects span a variety of Operating Systems, mobile platforms, technical platforms, and frequently overlapped each other. Once we were acquired by McAfee & Intel, I became a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer. My responsibilities included leading and training teams of Quality Assurance Engineers, maintaining current QA plans for all 19 software application tools that our team maintained, as well as all the other partner projects. I was considered the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and point of contact for QA and training for all these major products and projects. I created all the custom QA plans, and I conducted a lot of the QA testing myself, all while managing my teams and training other teams where necessary. I was an expert in software Quality Assurance life cycles, from planning, general testing, UAT testing, and Product Owner/Business Analyst sign-off and demos.
