As a leader on the Human Resources Team, sourced retail candidates for independently owned Verizon Wireless Zones. Oversaw all staffing for existing and new locations, during which HWC grew from 27 to 56 locations. Sourced candidates through cold calling, web mining, job boards, internal database searches, social network sites and referral networking. Prescreened qualified candidates, interviewed candidates and made all hiring decisions. Prepared and drafted offer letters, performed onboarding for all new hires. Onboarding included: checking paperwork, ensuring that all government forms were filled out correctly, explaining the commission structure, collecting copies of IDs, and ensured that all the information was present for direct deposits. Onboarding also included an in person orientation geared towards going through the company handbook, commission structure, PTO policy, and ensuring that all questions were answered regarding company policies. Responsible for tracking budget for job postings.
