Conducted an in depth review and identified alternative suppliers in China, negotiated new contracts and made annual savings of £2million on an annual spend of £20millionWorked as part of a co-ordinated team with other supply chain directors for the Kao Group to identify areas where savings could be made via synergies. Successfully identified key areas where savings could be made a delivered annual savings in excess of $10million. The team was presented with the prestigious Kao Board award in 2009. In 2001 the customer service delivered by Molton Brown was measured by OTIF (on time in full) and it was really poor and starting to adversely affect the rapid growth of the business that had been targeted. Analysed the causes of the poor service performance and put in place remedial action. Within twelve months the service had improved from 65% OTIF to 90% OTIF. It is now running at 97.5% OTIF.Acted as R&D Director and ran the R&D team in 2008 and 2009 successfully launching over 30 new products in that time. Show less
