  Operated Distributed Control Systems " DCS Delta-V " to calculate, measure, load, mix, and process refined feedstock with additives in fermentation or reaction process vessels and monitor production process. Constantly reviewed operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Maintained adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc., on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required.  Communicated with QA/QC laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.  Understood and implemented start-up and shut-down procedures for the safe and efficient operation of the Gas-fired package boiler and dryer system. Controled Fire Hazards; with known methods of control and emergency reporting in case of fire. Maintained QA/QC records and understood and interpreted QA/QC results to take appropriate action when required. Communicated directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas. Performed preventive maintenance activities as required and assisted maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs as needed. Worked in a safe manner at all times. Participated in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness. Monitored use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies.
