Led a private academy consisting of two campuses that provides education to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Served as the chief administrator in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member. Grew the school’s enrollment by 167%, and opened a second campus while serving as Head of School. Supervised all school personnel, directly and/or indirectly. Conceptualized the broad goals of the school and plans accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules were implemented to carry out the total school program. Utah

Served as Commander of Deseret Chemical Depot that was assigned the mission to store, secure and destroy the nation's largest chemical munitions stockpile. Responsible for the safety and welfare of over 1,400 government civilians and defense contractors. The Depot and tenant activities executed an annual budget of over $220 million. Responsible for a depot-wide security force and force protection plan that secured munitions, facilities and people. Responsible for the care and maintenance of real property on a depot sized at over 19,000 acres. Served as the Army lead for emergency management with local, county, state and federal agencies. Planned and executed U.S. chemical treaty compliance activities for the Depot. After completion of the demilitarization mission, was responsible for the closure of the base. Accelerated the closure timeline by 14 months.

Led the Capabilities Division for the Army's Nuclear and Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Field Operating Agency. Integrated strategic and operational level CWMD requirements between the Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Defense Agencies, and Component Commands. Represented Department of Defense within NATO for international Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) capability development; served as the leader of the "Shield" Capability Group for the American, British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand Armies' program enabling interoperability/standardization of CBRN and Counter Improvised Explosive Device efforts.

Pentagon

Served as Department of the Army staff officer responsible for managing, planning, programming and budgeting of all 157 Army Chemical Corps organizations with a total strength of 18,000 soldiers. Provided analysis of the Army's ability to provide personnel, equipment and facilities to execute force structure actions. Served as the liaison between the Army staff, Army Commands, and the U.S. Army Chemical School. Served as the Army Operations Directorate expert on Weapons of Mass Destruction and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosive defense.

Anniston Army Depot

Commanded the Anniston Defense Munitions Center which receives, stores, ships, maintains and demilitarizes ammunition and missiles for the Department of Defense. Also simultaneously commanded the Holston Army Ammunition Plant that is the sole domestic source for the Department of Defense production of RDX and HMX insensitive explosives. In total, responsible for the health, morale and safety of 168 government and 918 contract employees. Responsible for an annual budget of $106 million and $5.7 billion in munitions. Provided executive oversight for numerous lean six sigma projects.

Oberammergau, Germany

Served as Director of Current Operations and Student Administration for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) School which is NATO's only operational level school that educates 8,000 students annually from over 50 nations. Overall responsible for the planning and conduct of all current operations at the School. Responsible for student allocations, the development and maintenance of the annual academic calendar, and the allocation and coordination of all classrooms, syndicate rooms and conference facilities for the School. Responsible for planning, resourcing and synchronizing Mobile Education Training Teams that deploy worldwide to provide off-site courses in support of NATO. Simultaneously served as a Course Director/Instructor for two NATO School courses in the Environmental, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Department.

Fort Polk, Louisiana

Served as the Operations and Training Officer for an Army Chemical Battalion comprised of approximately 700 soldiers with a mission to command and control Nuclear, Biological and Chemical reconnaissance, biological surveillance and decontamination assets. Responsible for planning, resourcing and synchronizing training for five chemical companies and the battalion headquarters, ensuring these units could deploy rapidly in support of contingency operations anywhere in the world.

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Assisted the Corps Chemical Officer in both the supervision and control of all Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) activities for an Army Corps consisting of approximately 88,000 Soldiers. Acted as the Corps Chemical Officer in his absence. Served as a member of the Corps Plans Battle Management Cell, responsible for the integration of NBC operations into all Corps war plans, contingency operations, deployments and exercises. Supervised the Corps NBC Center that provided NBC operational and tactical reports to four Army Divisions and 14 separate Army Brigade NBC sections. Responsible for managing the assignments of over 80 Chemical Officers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The Pentagon

Served as a Program Integrator/Analyst in the Office of the Chief of Staff, Army. As an Operations Research, Systems Analysis specialist, developed, coordinated, integrated and presented analysis of Defense programs in the Army's six year, $422 billion fiscal program. Provided program analysis and evaluation for the Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff, Army, and other senior Army leaders. Responsibilities included identifying, coordinating, integrating, and analyzing resource issues and requirements during the development and defense of the Army's fiscal program.

Somalia And Fort Drum, New York

Commanded a Brigade Headquarters Company consisting of 100 assigned and attached soldiers capable of deploying worldwide for full-spectrum operations. Deployed the Company for combat and humanitarian operations in Somalia in 1993. Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing security, logistical and movement operations for the brigade command post. Supervised a training program for over 20 different military operational specialties. Maintained accountability of over $11.5 million of Army equipment and property.

Fort Drum, New York

Served as Assistant Operations Officer and Chemical Officer in the Division Support Command for the Army's 10th Mountain Division. Deployed with the unit in support of humanitarian operations in Sep-Oct 1992 for the Hurricane Andrew relief effort.

Southwest Asia And Fort Riley, Kansas

Served as Platoon Leader of a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Reconnaissance Platoon. Deployed the platoon for combat operations during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Led the platoon as part of the main effort attack into Iraq and the subsequent liberation of Kuwait. Responsible for the morale, health, welfare and training of 23 Soldiers and the accountability and maintenance of $7.8 million of Army vehicles and equipment.

Fort Riley, Kansas

Served as Assistant Operations Officer and Chemical Officer in an Armor Battalion and subsequently Armor Brigade. Advised the commander on all aspects of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) operations. Planned and supervised NBC training for approximately 600 soldiers.
