MPS & Associates, LLC has been appointed by the United States District Court, District of Oregon as the Independent Monitor of the Court-Approved Settlement Agreement on Policing in Portland.

As a member of the initial Board of Directors, assisted in the establishment of the Western States Chapter of the Association of Inspectors General.

Advise Sheriff on wide variety of issues related to DOJ settlement agreements, use of force investigations, policies and procedures, operations, as well as other accountability matters.

Elected by industry peers to assist in managing nation's leading organization working to support independent civilian oversight agencies.

First-ever BART police auditor, hired in response to 2009 shooting of Oscar Grant. Responsible for establishing all facets of independent oversight of BART PD.
