Drift refers to the superficial deposits overlying competent ground; typically, this formation creates the most issues for the drilling industry.Having worked in the drilling and civil engineering business for more years than I care to mention, both operationally and as a strategic consultant and leader, I know from my experience, and the people I am privileged to meet every day that globally, the drilling industry is growing at pace; consequently, the common yet challenging issues facing drillers are increasingly encountered.
