A non-profit, voluntary position.I worked in an advisory role within the Eirtakon committee, providing organisational and practical assistance to the running of the event, which was wrapped up following a successful 2016 event that attracted over 4,500 attendees from all over Ireland, the UK, Europe, as well as visitors from North America, Canada and Japan.

In 2012 it attracted 2,000 attendees from across Ireland, the UK, Europe and America.- Design & print of flyers, posters, business cards, merchandise & specialist print- Design & maintenance of website, Facebook, Twitter- Build contacts with other events, spread the word of Eirtakon via online and print media channels- General organisational duties in the run-up to the event- Helped grow the convention from ~150 people in 2007 to 2,000 in 2012 (later growing to over 4,500 by 2016)- Lead admin on www.eirtakon.com from July 2009 – January 2011

I was involved in the initial start-up of the company in 2008. Responsibilities included:- Led and directed PR and marketing for the new company, including online advertising, website and print designs, maintaining all online presences (blog, Facebook, Twitter etc.) and seeking out new online opportunities- Liaised with advertisers from initial discussion stage through to completion of project and after-sales management- SEO work through any available channels- Presentation preparation with Office / Powerpoint / Indesign / Illustrator / Photoshop, documentation management- Occasional MySQL database management work & maintenance
