Being an Urban Scientist means a lot of things to me but most importantly it gives me the opportunity to use data, analytics and maps to provide insights that allow our clients to support their business decisions. What I have learnt in my 17 years at Urban Science is that most client’s gut instinct is good 80% of the time what excites me is the other 20% of the time. To make sure that for those times when there is doubt, I can “bring the science” to support them in making the best business decision. I currently lead a team of Urban Scientists in Australia who are using science to translate data into actions that help our clients design and manage their retail channels.
