About Mark Pollard
Here's a blurb about my experience. I have worked in a variety of customer service fields for the last 17 years. These jobs have been with retail stores, restaurants and everything in between. I have had customer facing jobs as well as those where I was just a voice on a call. I've been adaptable to change and enforce policies that were steadfast. I have been in management roles as well as a cog in a well oiled machine. The variety of jobs that I have held have allowed me to pick up a plethora of skills that I have carried on to other jobs as well as my personal life. While my jobs have indeed helped mold me into the person I am today, they by no means define me and my values. My most recent endeavor is becoming an Account Executive for Boone Software that is allowing me to access all my tools and use them to empower others and their business. Above is what I have done, not who I am. I obtained a B.A. of Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi. In college, I was where I found my passion or should I say passions. I learned that I enjoyed observing people and seeing what patterns they make as a whole or as an individual. Society has an impact on everyone and people can either embrace, rebuke or change it. Other things that I learned about myself is that I really would like to help those in need, not just in our country, but globally. One can help those by simply using your voice and empowering those or volunteering with organizations to work directly with vulnerable populations. Another thing that I have realized is that Climate Change is real and effects all walks of life from humans to animals to plants. No one person can fix what we have done to the Earth but by working together, we can help each other survive it. Yes, I have the skills to thrive in any work force. I can multi task, have excellent time management, learns quickly and is a great team player. However, my passions for my fellow human and the other walks of life on this wonderful planet is what really drives me to exist.
