A wide variety of managing enterprises and marketing skills combined. I worked closely with the founders of Home Depot Stores when they only had one store they now have over 2000 stores and are the 2nd largest retailer in the world just behind Wallmart.I have a tremendous amount of experience in the mass markets arena. I also worked closely with the founders of Costco stores as well.This was back in the early eighties and together we formed the entire stage for wholesale warehouse buying that is so popular today. We used to run a chain of hardware stores by the name of Builders Emporium out in California.The company had 60 hardware stores and ended up going bankrupt which opened up the opportunity to start something new and different which led to the formation of Home Depot and Costco.I also was involved with a company called Zealand which at the time had only one ship it is now one of the largest shipping companies in the world. One other company I worked with was M C I when they had only 2 towers to transmit telephone calls.This was just when the deregulation of at&t was informed that they were running a monopoly and it needed to be stopped. Which led to the formation of M C I giving the American public a choice on telephone service.They later became known as worldcom and later ended up bankrupt. They got to big for their britches and didn't watch the store close enough.
