Other tasks have included fixture/tooling design, creating renderingsfor packaging and marketing use, as well as graphic illustrations for marketing/training purposes. Primary toolsused are SolidWorks, SolidWorks Visualize/PhotoWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.

Engineered By Design was a company assembled to design and develop a scalable HDTV technology. I worked on the design of several product components as well as tooling and fixtures needed for testing of the core technology. Other duties included working on the design and layout for a future manufacturing facility.

Primary duties included design of commercial playground equipment and document control of CAD data. The products designed involved a wide range of manufacturing processes including: CNC routing, tube forming, precision machining, roto-molding, sheet metal, welding, PVC dipping and powder coat painting. I worked closely with manufacturing engineering and purchasing, as well as with outside vendors.

Designed tooling and fixtures for both automated and manual assembly equipment used to manufacture PUR water filter products.
