I am currently a business trainer in pet insurance. I am responsible for bringing new starters up to business standards, teaching them about not only insurance, but also about FCA and ICO adherence, compliance, vulnerable customers, GDPR and treating customers fairly. I am also responsible for teaching them how to deliver high levels of customer service in a phone based environment.I am responsible for keeping the current employees training up to date, imparting to them any new processes that have been implemented and making sure they remain able to comply with FCA and ICO guidelines to impart high levels of customer service.I have worked my way up to this role from joining Markerstudy as an agent. This means I have been able to gain experience in admin tasks, complaints, customer call handling and adhering myself to high QA standards.My fast learning ability, along with my drive to progress and excel in all I do has meant I have been able to work my way into this specialist knowledge position despite still being relatively new to the company. I have learnt to make decisions and take responsibility for my actions as I have progressed, and I am keen to keep on developing these skills and progress even further.
