Mark Rempel is a Associate Editor at Defence Research and Development Canada | Recherche Et Développement Pour La Déf. Much of the success of the capability was built upon a partnership between DCSAS, industry partners and the Strategic Planning Operations Research Team (SPORT) in Defence Research and Development Canada. As a SPORT member, Mark Rempel was an integral member of this team, as it worked towards identifying information and knowledge shortfalls for Strategic Defence planning; resulting in significant improvements to the effectiveness of the analytical support DCSAS was able to provide. Mark provided academic and analytical rigour, in particular in the area of visualization of analytical outputs. He was a great team player and willing to take on any challenge.
