Owned and successfully delivered large-scale communication strategies achieving the wind-down of c.5k PPI colleagues and delivering a timely Covid-19 response to c.7k people. Led communication for the change agenda, skilfully navigating organisational designs and automation. Managed multiple crisis communications, offering a composed voice ensuring a swift response with integrity and understanding. Built trusted adviser status with 10+ directors, influencing and shaping their communication output to maximise engagement. I also led a small team of six colleagues, investing in their growth, performance and psychological safety to deliver 650+ internal messages per year. I consulted on multiple strategic projects involving regulatory input, inc PPI and the Business Banking Resolution Service. I led a small team to deliver three successful strategic conferences to 160 senior colleagues, averaging feedback of 8.7 out of 10. I hosted annual executive meetings enabling senior leaders to deepen relationships and co-create around solutions to challenges. I was selected for the LEAP programme targeting future leaders. I also championed internal networks recruiting advocates and helping to create a culture where people can bring their whole selves to work.

Pendeford

I was the internal communication lead on large-scale projects, including the Mortgage Market Review (MMR) and a programme to increase digital advocacy covering c.4k colleagues. I was the Relationship Manager for 15 champions, giving them a greater view of change and upskilling and equipping them to strengthen the company message. Delivered a series of Roadshows for senior leaders across the UK, helping to boost two-way feedback and engagement. I also shaped the strategic approach to change using strong communication theory.

I wrote various leadership updates for the senior leadership team, reflecting their personality, what colleagues wanted to hear and to create line of sight for all employees to understand how they can influence the goals of the business. Delivered innovative communication plans that increased value and engagement around subjects like Payment Services Regulations. My favourite was a planisphere designed alongside an agency to embed colleague knowledge of the seven complaint steps. I delivered the Colleague Engagement Plan in 2011, helping to increase the score by 12 points. I also maintained a strong physical presence across multiple sites in the UK, keeping me up to date with fresh colleague insight and sentiment, helping to deliver more effective and on-point communications.
