I have a range of experience from working in Refining. My experience is in- Safely running a FCCU both as an outside operator and a console operator.- Safely running refinery utilities systems, Air, Steam, Cooling water and fuel gas, as both an outside operator and console operator.- Safety and environmental management of day to day operations, including monitoring ESD systems, emissions and LOTO for maintenance activities.- Advanced boiler and turbine license and forklift.- Experience preparing for and executing a FCCU turnaround, as a core team member and lead for operations.- Filling in as the area specialist at times.- Operations representative on the console upgrade project.- Head operator experience managing the area operations shift.

Eagle Farm

During my time at G.James I had exposure to a number of different aspects of the business.I started in the remelt section learning about all the aspects of direct chill casting of aluminium alloys, with quality control through testing and calculation of additives, temperature and flow control of molten aluminium and preparation of the direct chill moulds.Next I was involved in setting up the preventative maintenance program for the extrusion presses and remelt section, working closely with the stores and maintenance fitters and electricians.I then learnt the extrusion process from operating the heaters, press and saw table to heat treatment and quality control and worked my way to becoming one of the shift supervisors.I was also the site workplace health and safety officer for a number of years.
