Ensuring the smooth running of student-led democracy, I have become familiarised with Students' Association democracy regulations and act as a support base for both staff and students. My main task is maintenance of student council, a monthly meeting acting as the main body for students to have their say. I also help in responding to student enquiries, encouraging involvement wherever possible.

Key tasks were writing articles on a wide range of topics, submitting policy responses to regulatory consultations, and managing our regulatory database with coding and metadata management. Managed social media for the company, where I planned, oversaw and reported on a significant increase in online engagement. Led the research on one of our most successful projects regarding regulation and technology, producing content for a number of UK regulators and for an industry-wide conference on the subject. From early in the teams inception I was given additional responsibilities as a volunteer administrator for my passion and clear results in engaging with students on sustainability. As lead facilitator of the Chicken Project, one of Green Lancaster's most popular and successful initiatives, I had key responsibilities such as marketing and operations, training and managing a large group of volunteers and taking initiative on any issues that arose.
