Development and implement a Term Contract Business Strategy for Beca Infrastructure across New Zealand.This role has allowed the development of relationships with numerous clients within New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) and Local Government. The implementation of this strategy includes: • Leading the development of major proposals, Roles: Bid Manager, pricing, programme development and project resourcing.• Setup and manage working groups for; Road Asset Management, Technology and Systems for road network management, Road Traffic Safety Technical Group, a Local Authority Client Relationship Group for the South Island and potential Term Contract Clients Relationship development.• Bid Manager for many major proposals.• The Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) is a contract (value $600M) starting in Oct 2008 and finishing in 2018. Mark has managed this project through the biding, initiation and implementation. Mark role involved the initiation and ongoing implementation for this contract from Sept 2000 and was successful in building a base fee from $800K to $2.5M per year over the 4.5 year Mark managed the complex partnership and relationships, on behalf of MWH, with NZTA (Client), Downer EDI (Contractor) and MWH’s internal resources and have a successful outcome.The professional services included: road and traffic services, including: asset management, programming, design, and construction, network Planning and controls, Traffic Safety, annual planning, forward works programming and geotechnical investigation and design.Local Government Transportation Project Director for various Transportation Projects, both urban and rural.Environmental Group Manager- Local Government Environmental Projects:This involved the development of relationships with Local Government and building a business based on these relationships.
