Senior Information Developer
CurrentThe Senior Information Developer provides leadership for projects of an identified product effort. Acts as a champion for the project within the product effort. Leads and performs complex design and documentation development tasks within appropriate schedule, assignment, and quality guidelines set in conjunction with the manager of the project. Duties and Responsibilities:Acts as the lead on a significant documentation project and can deal with select management activities (such as coordinating support from other Information Developers to deliver release deliverables)Owns responsibility for an entire project, including research, analysis, design,task breakdown, and input to management for scheduling and resource allocation Works with QA to determine quality plansLeads efforts to design multiple, integrated documentation modules to meet project requirementsArticulates the impact that project issues will have on other team membersEstimates tasks, efforts, and resource requirements and works with project and Information Development managers in setting appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines of the projectMonitors project status and reports progress to project and Information Development managersSpecifies, creates, modifies, maintains, and evaluates significant documentation components which are part of a larger software projectRegularly contributes to and conducts documentation reviews within the organization. Champions the benefits of these reviews with other teamsIdentifies and champions opportunities to advance documentation in the companyMaintains the integrity of assigned components within the (integrated) documentation library throughout the life cycleJudges adherence of design, writing, and graphics to standardsMakes recommendations on product design and implementation
