- Designed an developed a key feature of the IVY Platform Demo at CES 2022. The Occupant Identity Synthetic Sensor (OISS). OISS provides driver and occupant face recognition capabilities. OISS shows off IVY Platform's ability to collect data and provide ML services to act on that data.

Worked on a variety of projects and proofs-of-concept (PoCs):- Developed features for both Linux and macOS versions of Cylance Optics. Cylance Optics is an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution.- Participated in brainstorm sessions to create ideas for new products then helped design anddevelop a variety of PoC applications- Used lessons learned from working on Cylance Optics to create PoCs for BlackBerry QNX andAutomotive Grade Linux.- Participated in initial PoC design and development for BlackBerry IVY.

As part of the OS Security team, I worked on the BlackBerry Bootchain for Android devices. The Bootchain is responsible for establishing a Root of Trust on the device. BlackBerry solutions are renowned for their focus on security and the BlackBerry Bootchain is no exception. Leveraging technologies such ARM TrustZone and code signing, the Bootchain provides a solid foundation for the Android operating system. Additionally, the Bootchain aids in the secure manufacturing process with enhanced fastboot capabilities.

As a member of the Core OS team, I worked at the heart of the most reliable and secure operating system in the world. I have contributed directly to an OS that controls systems in everything from automobiles to internet, from medical devices to space systems, from manufacturing to nuclear power plants. The Core-OS team is responsible for, among other things, kernel development, memory management, process management, OS services, key libraries, file systems, networking IP stacks and utilities.During my time at QNX, I worked on:- writing unit tests for both legacy and modern C code to meet ISO 26262 certification,- finding and fixing bugs in the new QNX Hypervisor product's source code, and participating in rigorous code reviews- building custom images of the QNX Hypervisor for custom hardware and circulating these company-wide, as well as supporting bug fix verification activities using these images.
