Operations Project Manager
CurrentActively work on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure the overall safety, quality, and productivity within production facility. Support building operations by identifying areas of improvement and implementing processes that enhance production, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies. Forge relationships with external vendors and cross-functionally collaborate with internal teams on redesigning and rebuilding machinery and instrumentation. Complete projects and deliver results on-time and within budget.• Increased production efficiencies by collaborating with vendors and fabrication team to design and rebuild machines that identify and eliminate low quality tea bags without stalling production for high quality products.• Enhanced oil injection system and improved safety conditions; redesigning system to function without direct operator contact. Simultaneously increased end-user satisfaction with the attachment of a computer system to more accurately measure blends ensuring a consistent output.• Partnered with vendor to identify source of equipment failure; provided corrective actions to ensure proper operations. • Redesigned end of line Robot Palletizer; improved uptime and reduced failure while increasing productivity at a slower operating speed.
