Manage a team of 16, mainly drivers of varying size vehicles on various types of contract. Mainly daytime workers but including 2 night time drivers on supply chain/store stock replenishment. Be able to deal with customers on a daily basis as well as the blue chip companies that we work for to ensure we maintain a high standard of customer service. Manage the customer expectations and ensure that targets are met both for our own business in terms of profit/loss and also the customer requirements. Ensure turnover of staff is minimal but when required that recruitment is smooth and and the business suffers minimal or no interruption. Be aware of the market to find new business and so to grow the fleet which has nearly doubled in last 2 years.

Ensure that they were adequately protected and be on hand for ongoing advice in future years for ongoing customer service
