I lead the development of our teaching school partnership so that it is responsive to the needs of our partners,improves outcomes for students and creates opportunities for teachers to progress. We have a particular focus on teacher training and are looking to recruit the best graduates to train within our partnership of schools across Surrey and Hampshire. Further details can be found on our web page or add me to your network and contact me directly.I have been responsible for growing the partnership, bringing more schools on board and ensuring their needs have been met. Most significantly, I have led the development of our SCITT which is now successfully feeding a stream of high quality teachers into the school system. Leadership of the SCITT means that I now lead a team working across 15-20 large secondary schools and has changed the ways in which I work. I am also responsible for recruiting to the programme and have worked relentlessly and creatively to ensure that we beat our targets for recruitment and ensure partner schools receive high quality, committed trainees.

I was responsible for driving improvement in lower school to provide a solid foundation for students to reach their potential at Key Stage 4. The role was created for me and I was responsible for leading a team of 32 tutors through a number of significant changes for the school. I was also responsible for developing literacy across the school and was a senior member of the professional development team.

I lead a team of between 8 and 16 tutors and several year groups of 240 students over a number of years. I led the teams through a series of radical changes that led to significant improvements in pastoral care and student progress. The achievement of students under my care was a significant factor in Weydon School being graded outstanding by Ofsted in every category in 2009.
