At school, I was that kid that was always somehow distracted, never paying attention to the teacher, always messing around, talking too much in class. Seemingly in my own little world where I was thinking about how to beat Bowser in Super Mario Bros when I got home or learning everything to know in FORTRAN or C++.It seems i’ve had a games controller or mouse in my hand since I was in nappies. Things never change …. I’m no longer in nappies though.As time went by a little thing called the Internet started to get noticed and I got hooked! I ended up at university studying Media Technologies and Computer Animation.Since then I have had a variety of jobs from a graphics designer creating Hollywood movie posters to working as a computer games developer. Nowadays I work as an IT Manager for a major UK based charity.Why a charity? Because I love it. I like the atmosphere. I like the people I meet. I like to talk shop. I embrace the nerd within. I like to make a difference....whilst still fighting the good fight and beating Bowser in my spare time..
