Worked in a tight group of professionals servicing US Government (GennieMae) supporting loan based securities. Duties included; technical service to mainframe Legacy Systems both live and production support, performed QA analysis and reports for mainframe and newly developed Informatica/Oracle ETL processes. Developing ETL to capture mainframe legacy data from various sources including VSAM files, DB2 tables and flat files. Responsibilities also include maintenance on Informatica ETL processes to warehouse clients’ data. Fully versed with SDLC process.

Member of the pioneer group, which was specifically created to develop and implement new brokerage application and new Data Warehouse to support it.• Worked close with DBAs to construct the database and tables within it, data analysis, wrote programming specs and created application itself.• Designed and wrote front-end in VB for QA and future applications that utilized data stored in the D.W. using MQSeries.• Took a lead role on Extractions Process, which enabled other applications/processes to benefit from the data stored in the Data Warehouse with the use of stored procedures.• The batch process of populating D.W. was written in CobolII with DB2, using also DB2 Load utility and Stored Procedures to ease programming effort when possible and Trillion software to ensure the validity of personal information stored in the database.

Government, TowersPerrin, MetLife.• Developed and implemented CICS transactions for insurance underwriting department using Cobol2, CICS and DB2, various batch reports running against DB2 tables, fixed production problems as they occurred and also revamped old legacy system by changing data access from VSAM to DB2.• Designed and coded Licensing System for Department of Motor Vehicles of NJ using Realia COBOL, DATACOM database, Roscoe. • Developed various CICA transactions for Loans Master System (LMS), using COBOL II, CICS and VSAM files.• Maintained existing legacy system Online Purchase Ordering, Data-Warehousing procedures, Y2K modifications, conversion of modules from using VSAM to DB2. • Maintained Enrollment and Fulfillment systems. Worked in both batch and on-line environments. • Changed JCL procs, added new steps to it or new i.p./o.p. files, changed BMS and COBOL modules associated with it, generated new reports on usage of letters issued. • Helped design new DB2 databases to be converted from IDMS.• Re-engineered and coded computer based forms system which allowed users to select and update forms used in everyday life of systems personnel (i.e. move modules to production, request more space, etc). All modules were written in COBOL II, using ISPF panels for input. • Created report programs and JCL procs, updated existing documentation, and updated/re-wrote existing modules using client requirements gathering and feedback. • Generated reports on individual form usage. Designed and coded a sub-system which generated a report or selected/deleted migrated forms.

• Designed, developed and implemented an on-line/batch Address Change Verification System for Credit Card Division. The system was designed to prevent internal and external fraud. Personally responsible for analysis, design, coding and unit/system testing of CICS and COBOL II programs, including new on-line Zip Code File Maintenance sub-system with inquiry, update and delete capabilities. All programs were developed in COBOL II and CICS under OS/MVS environment using VSAM files.• Designed and developed CashBuilder (Savings Card) system which rewarded bank credit card customers with a payback for their purchases, cash advances and balance interest. Was responsible for all levels of software design: writing programming specifications, coding, testing, user support in the QA environment and implementation into production. The system was written in COBOL II using VSAM files.

• Maintained and enhanced existing CICS transaction, analyzed the problems/additions, evaluated the tools to be used in resolving the conflicts, dealt extensively with user community (clients and management). • Maintained National Customer Service Center workstation application. Involved in conversion of the application's platform and API's from OS/2 1.3 to OS/2 2.1. • Designed and coded Graphical User Interface (GUI) modules in C and EASEL (both as stand-alone executables and Dynamic Link Libraries) for an OS/2 1.3 workstation application. • Involved in the design of an OS/2 based data transmission capable of communicating across the TCP/IP network with other operating systems (MS-Windows). • Developed DLL's that interrogated data coming from a GUI screens, updated DB2 (DB Manager) tables and started other threads to send/receive data to/from the host using LU6.2 protocol. • Designed and coded process of generating statistics for each logical business transaction and utilization of GUI based productivity tools. Heavily involved in establishing standards for workstation development at Conrail. • Developed mainframe train monitoring system, involving on-line (COBOL-2/CICS, MANTIS) programs. • Involved in development of standardized customer database utilizing DB2 tables. • Developed various on-line applications consisting of storing and retrieving data in hierarchical database (SUPRA), designed and developed terminal input screens using MANTIS screen-generating facility, developed module to send data across CICS regions using LU6.2• Designed and coded ADABAS history file purge, using COBOL-2 (batch process). • Developed various reports on ABABAS database. Involved in conversion of application from CICS/MACRO to CICS Command Level. Coded various EZPlus reports.
