CIEE currently offers thirty programmes, involving over 800 students during the academic year. CIEE operates a multi-stream model, with numerous different academic programmes with multiple start dates, various programme lengths and a range of different customers. Based in London but overseeing workflow in the UK, USA and China.- Senior management of all client relations post acceptance.- Developed strong and productive relationships with independent schools, education agents, family offices and other high-end service providers, and relationships with US university admissions teams at key institutions.- Ensured expectations of stakeholders were managed effectively.- Management of the sales and marketing teams.- Created and oversaw management of an integrated digital system across all offices for student enquiry, recruitment, admissions and accounts processing. I held a number of roles at the British Council including managing the EducationUKScotland and SIRP programmes - joint British Council/Scottish Executive international initiatives to create and build international capacity for international student recruitment in Scotland, and support export development for Scottish SMEs. As Market Development Manager I was responsible for key markets: USA, China, India, Russia, Gulf States, Vietnam, Kenya and Mexico.- Worked with the Higher Education (HEIs) sector in Scotland and Academic to attract greater numbers of international students to study in Scotland.- Managed the UK Regional Network of Student Support Officers in Scotland providing pastoral care to over 500 international students.- For the eight international priority markets, I developed and managed operational marketing plans in close collaboration with the International Marketing Offices of Scottish HEIs. Delivered an eight fold increase in Vietnamese students in Scotland over a five year period.- Managed relationships with key funding partners in both the public and private sectors.- Led delegations of Scottish institutions overseas. to familiarise them with new or developing international markets.- Developed a successful export development initiative -SIRP, working with Scottish industry to place international students into export driven work placements.
