Mark Simons, CPA is the owner of Simons & Associates, CPAs. with over 25 years of experience providing audit, tax and consulting services to the affordable housing industry. Mr. Simons has extensive experience in affordable housing and community development, assisting developers and investors in maximizing the benefits of the low-income housing, rehabilitation, and new markets tax credits. He has provided audit and tax services to HUD program properties as well as properties financed through the low income housing tax credit program. Prior to starting his own firm Mr. Simons was a Partner in the accounting firm of Novogradac & Company and prior to that he was a Senior Manager for Reznick Fedder & Silverman (now the Reznick Group). Mr. Simons has been a frequent speaker on the subject of affordable housing at conferences and providing industry training to accountants and CPA’s. Mr. Simons earned his Bachelors degree in accounting from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw Georgia and is a CPA in Georgia and holds a Series 7 Securities license.Have more questions?
