I am an experienced ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher, trained at the (GLL) London Aquatic Centre in the Olympic Park, London. At present, I teach at Glassmill Leisure Centre in Lewisham and Wavelengths in Deptford (for Fusion Leisure), where I recently also fulfilled the role of Interim Swim School Co-ordinator whilst the company recruited a Swim Manager. I am passionate about swimming and have a genuine love of working with children. Currently, I teach school groups to National Curriculum level, and after-school Swim School group-lessons, following the Swim England/ASA Learn to Swim programme, plus Adult Beginner and Adult Improver classes. I have also taught at David Lloyd Health Club (Kidbrooke), St Dunstan’s Academy (a private school in Catford), and for Everyone Active (Dulwich pool).Prior to re-training as a Swim Teacher in 2017, I enjoyed a successful career in business and I ran a marketing consultancy for 20 years, specialising in the promotion of arts, entertainment and live events, where I managed teams and led on business and promotional strategy.
