I was promoted to Lead Teacher and Primary lead where I was in charge of planning the Primary curriculum in its entirety, working with other agencies and companies and also, ensuring that the whole of the Primary children had the best education and development opportunities available to them.

Working in a Primary class teaching both Pupils who had shown difficulties in mainstream schools for a number of reasons. I was working with the pupils and families to help engage them and reignite their passion for education using both my teaching skills and some innovative thinking.I also was working with the secondary schools to help the transition period for the year6 pupils, as they entered their next step in education.

Here I worked as an Early Career Teacher (NQT) having a year 6 class. Within my first year the Year 6 cohort achieved the best SATs results the school had seen, and with the help of the staff there, we once again improved this the second year.
