Responsible for Cabin Safety at British Airways setting the strategic direction of British Airways' cabin safety team. In addition to managing day-to-day safety monitoring and investigations I was accountable to the Flight Operations postholder for all compliance, oversight, continuous improvement and operational standards of 14,000 cabin crew on over 280 aircraft. This role is part of the IFCE Leadership Team.

Responsible for all Smoke, Fire and Fumes initiatives affecting Flight and Cabin Crew at British Airways. This includes - procedures, equipment, communications, fire fighting and containment techniques, human factors assessments, training and education, Board reporting and PED policy.

I am responsible for the creation, development, compliance and governance of all aspects of OM B for British Airways. This included: Creating a completely new OM B General Procedures, leading the 'Back to OEM' elements of FCOM and FCTM documentation, leading the 'Back to OEM' FAM and CCOM changes. Additionally, this role requires strict programme management discipline and excellent stakeholder management.

Responsible for: Fleet Operational Safety including cross-stream liaison; SOP and Governance; Operational Efficiency; Project Management including working with Training streams and engineering; Fleet transformation including aircraft disposals; Route development.

I was responsible for the development of a complete suite of Operations Manuals from Part A to D. The Ops Manuals are the manner in which any airline delivers its mission statement. In this regard, the Airline was required to be scaleable, online, lean and high quality as well as compliant. This was a high-pressure project, delivered on time and to budget
