- Operate and monitor the main Refinery in its entirety (SCADA), including Wash Water Treatment, Hydrogen Generators (Hogens), Reactor, Heaters, Heat Exchangers, pumps and Polishing process. - Plant start-ups and plant shutdowns of Oil Refinery - Trained in plant operations and understanding of Plant PID’S - Train and assist all new members of staff - Conduct efficient shift hand overs, 12hr rotating shift roster - Monitor Control panels, adjust Valves and pumps manually or by remote control to regulate flow of product. - Document and log daily production numbers along with maintaining a log of Operations and record meter and Gauge readings for all relevant vessels, Filters and scrubbers ( Flow, Level, Pressures, Temperatures). - First response to all alarms and failures throughout the refinery - Unloading and loading of tankers (Feedstock Vessel’s) such as Tankers, Isos, IBC’S and Drums. - Monitor and carry out all tank farm movements, collecting samples of Feedstock and Superfine for Laboratory testing. - Quality control of refined product - Managing Waste on site in particular Waste Water and Caustic - Carry out Maintenance duties as required to maintain the Refineries efficiency with minimal disruptions to the Plants production. - Carry out all WHS as required such as Job safety Environment and analysts documentation, participate in all safety initiatives, Permits to work, Incident and Hazob reporting - Work within a strict safety orientated environment adhering to the companies quality control, WHS and Environmental requirements to perform core tasks and duties effectively
