I have over 30 years of office experience, both as a temp and as a permanent employee. My first temp stint was primarily as a material handler. I did a number of filing and mail room jobs and also worked on a number of mass mailing jobs. I was a favorite temp at Society Bank (now KeyBank) and was brought back many times. I went permanent after close to a year temping at Premier Industries in their Sales Equipment area, where I collated and assembled sales manuals for their sales agents. After being downsized from there, I went back to temping, first for Olsten Temps, then for Area Temps, and went temp-to-perm on a telemarketing job for Household Life Insurance (credit card insurance). I lasted three months on that job before returning to Area Temps. I performed some customer service jobs for them, some data entry, some filing and even a concession job at Sea World! I then went to Champion Personnel, which led to me going permanent with my current job at UFCW Local 880, where I started out filing, but eventually graduated to mailing checks and EOBs and was later trained to run the postage machine. I became the main operator of the postage machine, making sure that all mail got out in a timely manner. When my office moved, filing was no longer a job, as all documents were now digitized, but eventually my duties expanded to filling copiers, sorting and stamping mail, putting away supplies and dealing with various vendors.I can type anywhere from 37 to 50 words a minute. I'm not versed in Excel, Word or Microsoft Office, but I'm willing to learn. I've operated mail machines such as the Neopost IJ90, Pitney/Bowes and Quadiant, and also am familiar with the Quadiant mail inserter as well. I am reliable and detail-oriented.
