Representing a community of 1500 fraternity members, I organized a week-long philanthropic event and am responsible for the intramural sports leagues. Collaborating with the university and student organizations, I led a team in successfully planning the week of school-related activities that raised over $8,000 for the B+ Foundation. This included managing a budget, securing donations, scheduling volunteers, and prompting the event.

Hands-on experience at Lamek Industrial machining high-precision components for biomedical and aerospace industries. Operating multiple Haas CNC mills and lathes, I learned the manufacturing process from cutting stock with a band saw, to machining parts with multiple operations. Next, I performed inspections to adhere to strict tolerances and GD&T requirements. Inspections required calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, an optical comparator, and a Keyence IM machine. Then finishing involved deburring and sanding to prepare for plating. I was fortunate to collaborate with designers, learn from experienced machinists and challenged myself to resolve challenges and optimize processes.

As a Sales Associate, I advised customers on product selection in a fast-paced retail environment. I collaborated with a team of 8 co-workers to efficiently help customers. While working at Ace Hardware I acquired industry knowledge in plumbing, electrical, hardware, and paint.
