I am the appointed Accountable Manager & Operations Manager of the workshop.Flitetec is an approved Part 21 G & a Part 145 organisation, manufacturing vacuum formed plastic parts and assemblies for aircraft seating and other aircraft interior fittings.

My main task is to oversee production making sure monthly deliveries are met & organise workloads for employees. I am also in contact with customers to make sure their requirements are met.

My main task was to oversee final assembly of galley & closet production for various airlines which were installed on Airbus A330 aircraft. I also assisted in galley modification for Jet Airways in Jakarta. During the inspection process I worked closely with both the internal inspection department & the Airbus source inspectors to make sure all galleys & closets were to the latest internal & Airbus specifications.

Worked closely with Qantas Airways personnel both on live aircraft at Avalon, Sydney, & Melbourne Airports in Australia. Assisted in the training of Qantas employees in the best ways to install & maintain both first class & business class seating on behalf of Contour Seating. Worked on refurbishment & upgrades on first, business & economy seats along with the refurbishment of lavatories while aircraft were undergoing "D" checks at Avalon. Managed the manufacture & installation of aircraft carpets for the Virgin Blue fleet of 737 aircraft, managed the repair station for all galley inserts for Virgin Blue, Qantas & various other airlines. As Product Support Manager I was required to train Haeco engineers in Hong Kong on the maintenance & repair of business class seats on Dragon Air aircraft. I have also assisted in the training of Air New Zealand engineers in the installation, maintenance & repair of the first class seat fitted to there 747 aircraft. During this time I wrote a manual to assist with maintenance on the seats for the technical services department at Air New Zealand. As supervisor I was responsible for the final assembly line of British Airways, United Airlines, American Airlines & Qantas first class cabins & seats. This also included working closely with the design department & on occasions the customer regarding modifications & improvements to both the seat & cabin.

My duties included overseeing the installation of water treatment systems for new water treatment plants & treatment plant upgrades to include the new treatment systems. During this time I worked in Gabon as site supervisor in West Africa installing 3 new water purification plants for the Shell village, contractors facility and the local village.

As a fitter i worked on water purification sites installing new pipework including vacuum injection systems. I also worked on live sites upgrading the purification systems including filter beds and pump systems.

Manufacture & trimming of galley & closet complexes for various airlines.

1st year at Bracknell college & day release for a further 3 years on the Engineering & Industrial Training Board (E.I.T.B) course at Reading College. On completion of my apprenticeship worked in the galley shop on upperdeck & main deck galleys for 747 aircraft for various airlines.
