As a South Wales based I.T professional with 17 years of experience in VMWare, Backups, Storage (EMC arrays, NetApp, Dell, IBM and HP) and Fibre Networks, including Windows and Linux OS administration where required. I have undertaken many key tasks within my current employment. These experiences have allowed me to develop and deploy large scale, enterprise class environments providing managed services to a large customer base, with a valuable skill set in a fast paced industry.For example: I have been the key member of staff responsible for maintaining the entire Hyper-V, Storage and Backup infrastructure in my current employment, as well as being the ISO contact for audits and processes as an additional part of my job function.Recent employment has had me performing the main 3rd line support tasks on the support team, the senior support team is comprised of individuals with specific skills where my main responsibility was the installation, configuration and maintenance of the companies on-premise virtual cloud environment as well as managing deployment of data hall fit-outs and rack installation projects including co-ordinating with 3rd party companies to install racks, power distribution units and the monitoring systems required to report on the status of these systems.I am looking to further progress my career in a new company that can provide good career prospects and an environment where I can develop my current skills further as well as learn new skills.
